(Black Canyon) Shooting Range, 25 miles north of Phoenix, AZ. 1/2 mile
west of I-17 on the Carefree Hwy. (exit 223). Competitors will enter
throught
the gate behind the 1000 yard lin, this gate is 1/2 mile west of the
main

[I do not believe this rule is currently valid, but rather than take
any chances, I don't bring glass bottles.]

- Eligibility:Open to individual members of the NRA,
except that Juniors may be members of an NRA
affiliated club in lieu of individual membership. All competitors must
be paid-up members of the ASR&PA. ($15.00 for adults, $5.00 for
Juniors.
If a competitor does not wish to join the ASR&PA he/she may pay a
$5.00
membership fee for this match.)
- Advanced Entries are required: All entries must be paid

Reminder: Everyone who is not a current paid-up member of the

Practice Firing: The match fees do not include Ben Avery
Range
fees for individuals practicing before the match. Those wishing to
practice
200 & 300 yards on Wednesday must pay a $10.00 range fee to the
individual
running the range on Wednesday. No practice on Thursday.
- Targets: SR at 200 yrds, SR-3 at 300 yrds, MR-1 at 600
yds, LR at
800, 900 and 1000 yards
- Target Service: No target pullers will be provided for
this
match.
- Open Bolt Indicator (OBI): Approved NRA
"open bolt indicators" are required to be used at all times except
during
the preparation time and firing of your relay. Those not having an OBI
may purchase one at the stat. office for $1.00 each.
- Squadding: All matches will be squaded. Squadding
tickets
for individual
matches will be issued at the Stat. Office starting at approx. 7:30 AM
on Match Days. A competitor who fails to obtain his squadding ticket by
8:00 AM will only be squadded to fill up vacancies. Be prepared to show
ASR&PA and NRA membership cards
and NRA
highpower rifle classification card when picking up squadding tickets.
- Scoring: Competitors will score. Any competitor failing
to
perform
scoring duties may be disqualified.
- Classification: NRA
Highpower Classification
will be used. Rule 19.6 "Assigned Classification" may be used. Those
unclassified
for without proof of classification, will be required to compete in the
Master class. Please indicate classification on the Registration
& Entry Form.

- Awards: Monetary awards will be given to each Match
winner

the high individuals in each Division Category/Class award group on

at the stat office prior to commencement of firing. Award groups must
contain
a minimum of 5 competitors or they will be combined with the next
appropriate
award group per policy. Second, thrid, fourth place, etc. awards will
be
given based on one awared for each seven (7) competitors, i.e. second
8-14,
third 15-21, etc.
Special individual awards:In match #8 a High Junior, High
Woman, high senior and a
high
grand senior award will be given if there are 5 or more entries.
- Challenge Period:The challenge period ends 1/2 hour after
the posting
of the match results.
